What PSI to start with for R6's?

Typically a beginner will see a 3-4lb increase, intermediate 5-8 and a seasoned driver will see 8-11.
Look for a hot temp of 36.

R6 pressure
Your cold PSI will be dependant on how much PSI you will be increasing which varies on speeds you will see and your talent level.

Here's Hoosier's own recommendations:
http://www.hoosiertire.com/rrtire.htm
In there you can read about heat cycles and proper curing after the initial heat cycle; chassis setup (2.5 to 3 degrees of camber); and Hoosier recommended pressures for a car of our weight (27-33 psi cold and 38-43+ psi hot).
Butt.....that's just the manufacturer's recommendations.

The first day I always start cold 30 psi. I maintain 28 psi hot from there. Some guys will run a different psi from front to rear. I have seen an increase of 10-12psi fromcold to hot, so check each tire after each session. You can also monitor your tires with a digital thermoter checking the tire temps along with the pressure gauge
