Figured out where creaky noise came from C5Z
Been driving me nuts for about 18 months & started about the time I put poly in, so I assumed it was the bushings & I had missed a spot greasing them.
Well I regreased yesterday & they were all "wet" with grease so I spent more time jacking the car up & down.
I could make the noise happen every time but not figure where it was (this is front).
Finally I happened to lower the (bottle jack) car with one hand & feel around with the other & damn if it wasn't the spring ride height pad jumping a mm or two and dragging across the LCA pad where it touches.
Put some grease under it & 100% gone (both sides).
Who knew that area needed grease?
Phew.

Yep... it gets worse if you have Delrin spring adjusters. I polished the "pad" area on the LCA to make it a little smoother and smeared a little anti-seize on it. Zero noises.

Very interesting.
My rear suspension has been a little noisy since I lowered the ride height slightly a few months back. Wonder if some grease in the area would do the trick.
