I went by McLaren Tuesday...
...and found out they don't allow visitors.
We rode the train from London to Woking and then a cab to the McLaren plant. Although they wouldn't let us in they did tell us about the Mercedes/AMG Works facility just down the road for them. It was built on the old Brooklands race track.
Inside the MB building they have McLaren, and MB F1 cars on display. They also have a F1 car disassembled and hanging by clear string so you could see how it all fits together. It was a a helluva display.

Safety Car
I'll take two, one in black and one in MB silver.
Not surprised McLaren won't let anyone in...
They work on a bunch of stuff for different clients...most of it highly secret.
