If you're interested in splitting them up, I'd be interested in the fronts.

How do these compare to XP12s in rotor friendly, fade etc?

I would say that these Hawk DTC-70 compare directly with the XP12's, but I have never used CarboTech pads - In my opinion - they performed very well - took minimal time to 'heat up' and they really bite when they're at peak. I personally didn't notice any negative issues with rotor contact - at the time I had van steel rotors on the car front and rear...

from the KNS website description :

The Hawk DTC-70 is an extremely high torque race pad with a temperature rating of 400-1,600 degrees Fahrenheit. Performs well on road race and asphalt circle track cars
