Default Z06 Hillclimb Video, Pagoda 2012

In-car video from my '01 Z06's maiden event. Running in SSP, air intake, no cats, cat-back, stock headers (the way I bought it). Stock suspension, 113,000 on everything including shocks. Running on used A6s mounted on stock wheels (315/30r18 and 295/35r17). This run was an 83.0, went 82.8.

Mark, I was afraid you were going to be driving the Z06 like you drove the mustang. You stay in SSP and I'll stay in ASP, that's the only way I'll have a chance.
Just like you I'll be running with out antilocks, my EBCM craped out on me at Weatherly but since mines a 99 it can't be fixed and they don't make them anymore. Buy the way my fastest run at Weatherly was the first run with the antilocks out.

I pretty much drive it the same way . This was probably my most "boring" run, I was trying to find time in the tighter sections, couldn't decide whether it was faster sliding around or coming out of everything slow, was having a hard time putting power down, as can be seen in the video I wasn't going full throttle until I had completely exited the corners at times. I think the car had an 81 in it, but I promised myself I would park the car once I got in the 82s and on my 7th run I did, so I parked it.

I gave up on the ABS, pulled the fuse. Stops fine. A bit of RF lockup, but after we put it on the scales yesterday I found out I have 120 (!) lbs heavy on the LF, with the rears within 2 lbs of each other, so me eyeballing the setup didn't work too well. Will get the cross weights worked out before Polish. And we both should be in SSP, don't think your car is in ASP anymore?

That looks like a lot of fun, good run ! The lack of any runoff in case of an error would scare the snot out of me. Miss an apex and you are into the armco, trees or rocks !!
