What slicks seem to be the best?
what sizes you running ?
Where are you getting them?

On my Porsches Michelin and Dunlops worked the best.
Yokohama were fast but gone in 20 min
Perelli wore out to fast ..

However I was in rear engine car... Just curious to hear some thoughts.

Thanks

Matt

Matt - did you get a Corvette?

A lot of guys run Pirelli take offs from World Challenge. I've seen several with Hoosier and Michelin slicks. Never seen one with Dunlops.

Matt,
Lots of options:
1. Hoosier A6 or R6 scrubs. Usually $100 w/ 3-5 heat cycles. Available form various forum supports.
2. New Hoosiers from TireRack, et. al. About $1600 with heat cycle.
3. Michelin Racing Slicks (I'm sure your know these!) The 31/71-R18 are a little too tall for a C6Z but they make their our clearance fairly quickly. They stick like glue. I've got a set of S9D's on my C6Z now. Michelin has a new version out , S9H, that is supposed to have dramatically improved life. Cost is about $570/tire. Dealer is Finspeed.
4. Continental tires are now available through Mike Satterwhite at Champs Tire.

Welcome to insanity!
Jim
