Q's: brake ducts on daily driver C6
getting ready to order a brake duct kit for my C6 and had a few concerns. Will the hose direct rainwater directly to rotor and compromise street braking when it's wet outside? Should I block the inlets for street use? In another thread there is a setup to take cooling air from the foglight instead of the factory under-bumper location - is this necessary? Anything else I SHOULD know?
Thanks

If you drive your vette into a lake, river, or ocean, then water will squirt on your rotors as it will be forced up through the ducts.
Don't worry about rain.
Quantum offers a fog light kit, not sure what applications. Doubt that you need the fog light kit.

When I drove my '90 on the street I had brake ducts going from the air dam and never had an issue with braking in the rain.
You can see them in the dam on my car in this picture:
