I recently heard about this track and how much closer it is to my area than VIR. Does anyone have info on it and what groups may be having events in the future?
Thank you!

NASA South East ran a couple of events there last year, but is not running anything there this year. I think that the track is designed for auto testing rather than running HPDE or race events. Support and paddock facilities are lacking.

It's a great track for driving (not racing), especially good for beginners. Mostly long, constant radius corners. It is easy to get into a corner, find the "limit", without much risk.
Stacy King has organized events there, and help other events get put together there. Drop him a line

I ran there last year and wasn't really looking forward to it (ran for points only), but I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I wish it was closer. I'd be there all the time. The place really surprised me.

Thanks for the replies and information.
This looks like a close place to have some fun. If I can get some new tires on the car, Im going to try and make it out for the event in August.

Just so you know, that place is pretty tough on tires so you may want to just run what you have or pick up some cheap ones to trash.

I've run there twice with a local car club Grip Syndicate. They call it "Gripfest". It's a good place to do a shakedown and play around. As stated before, it's all constant radius turns. Be careful of your oil pressure on the really long turn. For the prices that are being charged typically, you won't find a better deal.
