Default Custom Painted Helmets

Hi
I searched and didnt see anything recent (2007)

I am wondering if you have a painted helmet, where did you have it done and how much did it cost. I am getting a Bell M4 most likely and would like to personalize it and would like to start getting idea's.

Try Tony at Lechner Racing Design. No airbrushing just quality paint.

Censport Graphic's did my newest one, Alex at Alive Designs did all my other ones. Prices are really more dependent on what you want. Will be over $300 if you use them. The Lechner Design guy is a really good deal. Some paint jobs cost over $2,000 while others go with something simple and it costs a lot less.

here's my old helmet from Alex at Alive Design,

Wow, nice helmets. I would have been happy to find some touch up paint for my matte black helmet. I guess this would take care of those nicks.

I'm pretty sure there is an unwritten rule that you have to be a pretty decent driver before you get a custom-painted helmet. I'll keep rocking the Casper the Ghost look on my helmet until I learn how to freaking drive.

Last year, I bought a Pyrotech Pro Airflow Full Face Flame Graphic helmet already painted. It's SA2101 rated and IIRC, it cost me around $325 plus shipping. Looked at the M4 and decided that a full face helmet was the way to go after getting peppered at a track day last year. Open face wasn't going to cut it anymore.
