AMP Sept 22&23 with SVT/Track club
I just signed up for 2 days at AMP for $405 including the $30 membership fee.. Pretty cheap to me..
A few of you have done VIR with them I have seen.
Anyone else going to join me at AMP ?

Yea, I need to join one of the clubs putting it on and then ask for the instructor link.

Just recieved info on the weekend. 2 run groups advanced and novice(not many signed
up I was told). advanced group has 5 1 hour sessions both days lotta track time. Fun track to run!

AMP is a fun, but technical track. The whole time will have you shifting, turning, braking. There is no time to really just take a deep breath. So, the track wears you out, but it has a nice rhythem to it and will punish you for not hitting your marks.

And this will be my 1st time there, but I am looking forward to it. It looks fun, exciting, and scary from the passenger seat. All of which I like..lol

What's exciting about this track is all of the blind corners. It's a very "engaging" track.

As you said earlier one must hit the marks, learn to shift smoothly up and down and, I might add, suspension loading with throttle/brake at the right time for good acceleration especially with track out onto the front straight. When one can do 10/10ths at AMP, one can do 10/10ths anywhere! Also, there is no other track that is such a tight roller coaster in the SE.

Well - I wish I could go, have to hold down the fort at home and finaly finish the 383 so I can get it installed in the car this month.
