What is your favorite Northeast track?
Like the title says, a few that come to mind are NHMS, LRP, NJMP and maybe Watkins Glen...
Not just the track layout but whats your best overall experience?

The Glen hands down. (but I haven't been to Limerock yet)
Love the track itself for the layout (the ultimate road course IMO), flow and especially the elevation changes, and not to mention the historic appeal. The town of Watkins Glen and the area around Lake Seneca are gorgeous, the people are friendly and there are plenty of nice shops, restaurants, wineries, pubs etc to entertain away from the track.

I've driven all those tracks except LRP, so my vote goes to Tremblant. Track is silky smooth. Fun place to take the wife as well. Lots of things to do in the village after the track goes cold or the day before/after the event. Great restaraunts. Lots of bike paths so bring your bike.

I'd have to say Watkins Glen is by far my favorite. Besides being an extremely long, fast and challenging track, unlike many tracks that are throw together with dirt paddocks and a single bathroom in the middle of nowhere, I get the feeling that Watkins Glen is more like an International motorsports complex with a nice town that has lots of racing history. It has been described as "the home" of American road racing. It also held the US F1 GP for many years, something no other track besides Indy can say. Also, I have never driven another track with such massive elevation changes (at least east coast).
The whole experience of the town, the atmosphere, the track, and it's history is unlike any other track I have been to (including VIR and Sebring). It is the clear winner.

The Glen hands down for all the above reasons. I also have relatives that live in Dundee, 8 miles from the track. It helps when the wifey can visit with family while you are at the track.

It really helps when you only live 60 miles from one of the best tracks in the World. International Speedways does a lot to keep it spiffy and there is always something going on there. This weekend is reserved for the Finger Lakes Wine Festival so no track events.

I gotta say that we are lucky to have a lot of great tracks. I love Watkins (historical, fast track that rewards smooth powerful cars and uses the elevation to maximum effect), Mosport (historical with fast sweeping corners), Calabogie (mirror like pavement, windy track with lots of interesting turns), Mont Tremblant (picturesque track with great linked corners and lots of elevation).

For all the above reasons, all are great....I'm particularly partial to the Glen and Mosport as I've been going to both since I was a teenager (saw my first F1GP at the Glen 40 years ago--good god!) to watch races, and after all those years of seeing the greats at each one I still can't get over the fact that I'm able to drive them myself. Both demand your undivided attention, especially, for me, Mosport ....

Watkins Glen (though I haven't been to any of the Canadian tracks yet).
I did Skip Barber at LRP and ran NHMS many times with COM. The size, speed, and history of WGI make it my favorite track. Putting the hammer down at the apex of T1 and not lifting until the bus stop... Incredible.

The Glen is tops for sure. Shout out to my "home track" Tremblant and to Calabogie, which is fantastic and very well-run. Mosport and Lime Rock are great momentum flowing tracks, too.
Of the major tracks in the NE, I think I've done all of them except NHMS.
