You have a car that is 8 or more years old. Take a look at your front spring adjusters (the screw thingies that screw into the front leaf spring and then rest of the front control arm to hold your suspension up).

My guess is that your adjusters are very deformed and ultimately can screw up your ride height and the ability of the pad part to move freely on the spring.

Unfortunately, GM does not sell these adjusters separately. you have to buy the whole spring. aftermarket solutions work fine, except are not legal in SCCA stock category (autocrossing)

The C5 and C5 Z06 font springs all have the same adjusters. Over the years I have sought out and bought entire front c5 springs where the adjusters were in excellent condition. Since I no longer need these since Im in a different class, I am selling my stock.....I have 6 of them.
