Thanks, have you used it?

xr1 sort of "won" the grm track blind test.

holy cow. damn it wish I knew. I just order xr1/xr2 from mtiracing and they're more expensive than the cobalt website's regular prices. wtf. the discount takes f/r pads down to $5xx. I'm switching from carbotech pads (RP2/XP10) and trying the cobalts XR1/XR2. Have you guys used them before? Did you stagger or go with the same pad f/r? at these prices with the discount, i'm wondering if I should order a second set. would like to try them out first, but the price with discount is great.

I run XR1 front and rear. If you dont use use ABS, stagger with XR2 in rear.

damn just got email today sorry buddy

yeah the discount is amazing i was glad to see the 25% off .

the cobalts last a long time and arent heavy wear or leave a ton of rust spots like hawk etc.. a well liked pad by many on here. I was running xr1 and xr2 rears

that was with ap cp5555 calipers up front and 4 piston stock z06 rears.

No worries man, thx for the heads up on the sale. I might just grab an extra set at these prices. plus I didn't even think to check on buying the pads directly from Cobalt. Strange the resellers sell them for more than what the manufacturer sells them for directly. I think I'll grab an extra set and just be stocked up on pads for a bit.

I've always called in orders. If you buy direct, they offer discounts for SCCA & NASA license holders and usually a lesser discount if you are affiliated with an HPDE group.

Thanks, perfect timing.

Couldn't get my oem CTSV-2 Cadillac/Brembo calipers to work on the vette, so I have 2 sets of XR1 pads for 09 and newer ctsv that I would like to sell or trade for C5 gogo parts or safety equipment.
