Hoosier fitup on slightly wider 18/19 rims
Hey guys,
Just got a set of TSW Nurburings for my car due to the BBK install and looking to get a set of track tires while debating which track wheels to go with long term (maybe 18' square).
Anyway, as a stop gap, I'm looking for advise to see if the Hoosiers listed below will fit comfortably on the rim.
18x9 - Hoosier 285/30/18
19x10.5 - Hoosier 315/30/19
I know that the 315 should fit since I had a set on my stock C6 rims prior to the brake upgrade. Will the 285's fit on the 9" wide rim? Again, I'm betting so since I ran 275 PS2's on the stock 8.5" rim. The aspect ratio is the only thing I can think of that may make mounting a bit of a challenge. Please confirm this setup will work if you have run them.
Thanks,
Sean

Is your car narrow booty? On 18x10.5 TSW i fit the 315 fine, until I slammed the car with coilovers. Your car looks as low as mine. That bing the case on the TSW 10.5" wheel I don't see you fitting> 285 in the rear.

Yes I have a narrow body. I've already had 315 Hoosiers on stock rims work for me so I can't see any significant issue there. Heck, I can raise the car up enough to clear if there is rubbing problems.
Thanks for the insight.

Maybe I can raise the car up to avoid contact. I have stock size wheels on those rims now, I'll take a look when the car goes back on the ground for fitment and clearance issues.
