Default C7 Z51 has 19" F / 20" R --> race tires

Well, with the C6 18/19 proved difficult enough to find race tires/scrubs for HPDEs and most of use went 18" all around.

Now we're going to have to step down to 19"s all around?

That's no different in sizes to the ZR1 and Z06/Z07 have stock now and we all use 18's for track wheels. So I would expect the exact same thing to apply to the C7, not seeing the problem??

I thought the ZR1 was the only one that used 20"s....

Well, hopefully it won't cause a problem, I'm sure there will be some new nannies in the C7 software.

Don't think you car step down to 18s with the ZR1 or Z06/Z07 due to the front brake size. With 15 inch rotors I doubt an 18 will fit over the caliper. At least the C7 Z51 has smaller diameter rotors than the regular Z06 so stepping down to 18s shouldn't be hard.

Bill, I'm running 18" Forgeline Ga1R's on the front (and rear) of my '11 carbon edition (Z06 w Z07) which has CCB's on it. CCW and Finspeed also have 18's that fit over them

No the Z07 uses the same brakes as the ZR1 and comes equipped with the 19/20 wheels also.

I was disappointed but not surprised by the 19/20 combo on the Z51 version of the C7. I run SCCA Solo Stock category, so I have to run stock wheel diameters but can run R-compounds. 20" wheel on the rear was the sole reason I didn't get a Z07 package C6 Z06 and went with the "standard" version.

BTW, tire availability was one reason the new Viper has 19" all around.
