Sheared Banjo Bolt Installing Hardbar AP T1 set - Help please
Made the near-inevitable rookie mistake today installing Gary's T1 kit on my '02 Z06 and over-torqued one of the banjo bolts and it sheared off. I was able to remove the bolt from the AP caliper no problem but I am not having any luck finding the right replacement. Local parts places only had the Dorman bolt for the rear calipers and I can't even find a listing for the part on AC Delco's parts finder. The car had Goodridge braided lines on it when I got the car so I'm not even 100% certain if the part is the stock part or not.
I figure I can probably hit a Chevy dealer for one, but just in case... Any help on where to source the part?
Thanks

The stock calipers use a square banjo fitting with a pair of copper washers for sealing.
I don't think the AP calipers were intended for use with a banjo bolt. I bought lines with my kit and the caliper end has a straight adapter fitting to connect to the AN hose fitting.
Pegasus Racing in WI has brake line fittings, but I think you might be better off using the Hardbar lines with fittings.

Use the fittings and you can remove the lines and never worry about the banjo bolt again. I have the DRM kit on my stock calipers and have removed the lines several times to rebuild the calipers. The line comes off and the fitting stays in the caliper.

Thanks guys. I was able to get a fitting from a GM dealer locally that at least let me stop the bleeding. I'll give DRM a call about the fittings.
