Default What do the Internals of an LS1 than can Spin 8600rmp Look Like?

I don't know but this is what they look like on a motor that can't

8 bent valves in all.

QuarterMaster Lightweight clutch and a missed shift at 108mph.
Went for 3rd and got 1st

The new oil pump and accessories are being switched to the spare motor now, Penske's are being rebuilt and hopefully it will be ready to go by April.

A rev limiter has no effect on a mechanical over-rev caused by selecting the wrong gear.

It was "The Money Shift", rev limiters don't help with that.

Sorry to hear it, G.

If I couldn't spend cubic dollars on my car, I'd be rich!

Mine ran for 2 years after the same damage. Slap some heads on that thing and go!
I have a pair of 241 heads with PAC1218 springs if you want them. They're for sale, but you can have them for free if you want them.

Yeah but money shift has a better ring to it

I hate when that happens but you gotta pay to play sometimes.

I'll go with the money shift but truth be told I was passing a Spec E30 during open practice on Friday.

You didn't hear......a few of us got together and built a 2 1/2 mile heated indoor track.
This is leftover from the race at the end of October.

G... I feel for you! Lucky that also didn't add insult to injury and lock your rear wheels and dance you into a wall.

All engines come with a rev limiter. God decides this limit.

Very true. This happened in turn 2 on a 13 turn track. I actually drove it back to the pits on 3 1/2 cylinders.
