Default Recommended tire widths for C6 with 18x10.5" C5Z wheels

Hey guys,

I just got a set of four 18x10.5" C5Z wheels that I will be using on my C6 - track use only. My question is what tire widths are recommended for this setup without significant rubbing on the wheel well liner. I know the fronts will rub the upper control arms and/or cooling ducts at full lock but I want to keep my fenders intact.

I was thinking of the following - 295/645/18 front and either 295/680/18 or 305/680/18 rear tires. Will I need any spacers to better center the wheel in the well? I know the offsets are slightly between C5Z wheel and C6 wheel and in not too worried about looks as long as there is no or minimal contact. As an example, I'm currently running 19x10.5" TSW rear wheels with 295/680/19 Hoosier R100's and get very slight rubbing on the outer wheel well on hard cornering/bumps. Just enough to leave faint rub lines on the outer tire sidewall. I think the C5Z offset will fix that.

Any suggestions?

Anybody?

I know there are several running C5Z rears at all four corners of their C6. What sizes are you running and what rubbing and/or spacer problems have you run into?
