Default MTI Racing at Road Atlanta

MTI Racing is at Road Atlanta this weekend for the NASA (National Auto Sport Association) event going on all weekend. MTI Racing's Will Stukas and Reese *** will be hitting the track hard along with some MTI Racing customers. It is going to be a great weekend with great weather, perfect for watching high performance cars hit the track. We want all car enthusiasts to come by and hang out with us. See you there.

Jerry, I noticed you didn't complete Saturday's race, I hope it wasn't a major problem.

I was having a pretty good race. I think I was running in 4th place in ST2. Mark West hole shot me at the start to get in front of me in 3rd place. Man those GTR's are quick off the line! I was filling his mirrors everywhere but the long straight, and with about 5 laps to go or so, the engine threw the serpentine belt right at the entrance to 10A. Limped it into the pits. Hopefully no major damage. Jim Painter told me to replace the stock tensioner a long time ago! Guess I will pay more attention to what he says from now on. Do you think he knows what he is talking about??????
He should have kicked my butt for that one. Jerry

Yea, I watched Mark's video that he posted. His car's got some serious giddy up! He pulled you like a piece of taffy on the start, then at turn 7. Every time you were near him, he'd boggity boggity down that long straight and would be gone until you closed up on him again at the Esses. Rinse and repeat.

I noticed only 3 ST-2 cars raced on Sunday. You, Reese and Russ were absent.

You should’ve seen the Viper in TT3 at 9.0:1 pw/wt.

Reese looked to be putting down some good fast laps in ST2.

Well, Reese is a great driver. He had that new clutchless tranny. He was really happy with how it worked and I am sure it didn't hurt. I had to come home on Saturday evening, so missed the fun on Sunday. With small kids, trying to find that balance between being with my family that I love, and doing the other thing that I love doing. Hope to be out there soon. Gotta figure out how to stay with Mark on the straights. I was at 8,7 pounds per hp so got to put the car on a diet and maybe gain a little more power. Jerry
