Default Braking delay when quickly from throttle to brake

Is this an issue of my booster losing vacuum or an abs issue? My car is a supercharged z06 (c5). Wondering if I have a faulty check valve or what. Any known issue with this? Car is stock cam. No fault codes or problems.

Reading this quickly, I'd replace the check valve. I'd also buy a few as I've had some go bad at the worst times. They are cheap and easy to replace as well!

Without a more detailed description of the problem, you might want to consider pad knockback as a possible source of the problem too.

I just had to replace the master cylinder on my 08Z. Is the pedal soft and mushy? The only time in the 55 years I have been driving that I have had a bad master cylinder.
