Anyone have a source for lexan rear window for a C5 fixed roof. Looking for some more weight reduction.

Five Star Bodies

However, it's VERY minimal. The rear glass is very light, it's nothing like the difference between the front glass and lexan. 2-3 lbs IIRC

I believe it was more like 9 lbs. savings for a FRC. Get the thinner one.

Not for me ('99 FRC). Like Mark said, maybe 2-3lbs.
If it ever gets damaged, the stock glass is going back in.

My 99 FRC back window weighs 14 lbs. 7 oz. I remember the Lexan being half the weight. That would be 7lbs. Then you have the heavy gasket that the glass window sits in. No longer needed. Pretty sure that's how I got the 9 lbs. savings. But then who knows, I threw so much stuff out of my car, maybe I'm remembering something else.

scott's FRC rear glass felt heavier than mine, but I didn't weigh them

I know another local guy with an FRC doing his soon, I'll weigh it to compare
