Default Front brake duct plates for C5 Z06?

Is there an aftermarket company who sells a plate which mounts to the front brake brackets which you can ziptie ducting hose to? I assume there is at least one or two but I don't know where to look. On my Cobra they replaced/mounted to where the splash guards were. You simply drilled out the rivets and then bolted in the new plates. It directed the air to the inside of the rotors.

You can convert the C5 ducts using the DRM extensions and the LG spindle duct kit. If you want one I have an LG spindle kit left over from my C5 that I will sell for half price. One of the aluminum backing plates has a crack in it and needs to be welded but that is all that is wrong with the kit. The DRM ducts have a 4 inch hose outlet and the LG kit is sized to match them.

When did DRM change the size of their ducts? The ones I got from them use 3-1/2" hose.

You are right. I purchased mine about 9 years ago and I knew they were bigger than 3 inches but just thought 4 when I wrote the post. Just checked them now and they are 3.5 inches. Been sitting in the garage taking up space for 4 years.

I believe the LG ones are the totally enclosed ones. The style I have have a slash cut pipe welded to the plate that looks like it'd leak some.

Why can't there just be a simple place to bolt the plates up w/o having to pull the hubs?!?

Same ones I have. I'd still go LG, it's only 3 bolts to yank the hub.

The guy I use to repair my car after "incidents" made ducts for my car that attach to the spindle with only 1 bolt.

Very easy, very quick.

Quickest and easiest is 2.5" ducting from an airplane supply website zip-tied to the Z06 outlet zip-tied to the sensor tab. And cheap.
