I'm looking for advice for a dual catch can setup for a track only C5Z. Any suggestions and websites are welcomed.

Thanks,
Sean

If that falls thru I've been happy with the Elite Engineering one I've had for over a year.

I made my own. I've used many and still got oil in the intake. Granted, I have a very different motor though

I have had the EE on both of my old motors and really like them. The problem is that you wouldn't be able to fit two of them in the traditional spot. I am, however, considering locating them to the frame rail or similar.

We'll see how it turns out.

Here is my set up!! NO OIL IN ENGINE!!!! no hoses back to the TB!!! That is the only way you can be sure not to get oil back into the engine. JD

Similar to mine. Breather on valve cover so no line back to TB. Line from valley cover to catch can and then to breather into atmosphere and plug on intake port. ZERO chance of oil going back into motor. Prob won't pass inspection, but for track only, it works.

3/8" hose seems a bit small for a proper catch can. I'd have custom nips installed to the VCs and fed to a proper can. The 3/8" is only good for convenience and better than stock, IMO not an end all solution. It just doesn't flow enough air.

Here's a different mounting option for you. I have a CCA can.
Mounting here will also keep the can cooler, allowing the oil droplets to condense faster.

If you need catch cans, start lining up a new motor...

I don't know about that. Seems pretty harsh. The wet sump LS1s seem to blow a good bit of oil back into the intake (unless you have a can). The Z06 a bit less, but still some even in stock config.

Dry sump would seem to be the best way, but many of us are not doing that, until the LS1-6 engines are all done anyway.
