Does anyone know anything about Ted Mae of Valaya----he has been paid for work not done on my car and for two weeks there is no answer at the shop and his voice mail is full and no response to e-mails.??mddpm

Just to clarify & help you out (maybe) how does a shop get paid in advance for work not done?



I have paid for work that was done poorly or wrong but never for work not done.

Although Ted has not done any work for me, he has been around since the late 90's. Well known in the Viper world. I would post on the viper forum. I am sure someone will be able to add some detail about him and/or the shop.

Thanks all, there was some insurance work, he cashed the check for his shop and a paint shop and sent the car back to me with work still not done, dating back to October last year.

I get it. I would stay on this and not let too much time go by. Auto repair shops are regulated by the state, you might call the state board and see what avenue they have.

Thanks to all Ted finally made contact with me today with promises of getting the work done. I will post the results when it is all done.
