3 ***** Racing is hosting an open track weekend at Gingerman Raceway on Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, to benefit The Karmanos Cancer Institute. All the funds raised during this event will go towards the construction of a new pathology lab at The Karmanos Cancer Institute. This lab will allow Karmanos to reduce the time to get pathology results and also lower the cost to the patients. Last year, we raised just over $12,400 for melanoma research and we are hoping to exceed that goal this year.

The event will function like a normal open track weekend. There will be four run groups and 20 minute sessions. All experience levels are welcome and instructors will be available. Your registration fee includes lunch and drinks. For this event, the fee also includes a donation. In addition to the normal track day activities, we will be having a silent auction each day. The 3 ***** Racing Neon will be available to rent for a session, and our instructors will also be giving rides for $10. Of course, there will be come great camping and bench racing Friday and Saturday nights.

Cost of the event is $215/day or $375/weekend.

I just picked up a C6 vette this week, and would like to go Sunday - Does anyone know where I can score some track pads last minute? I don't think my stock pads will make it through the day.
