Air Pressure Potenza RE11
Looking for some ideas on what air pressure to run with Potenza RE11 at an autocross. Running stock C6 ZO6 sizes with DRM shocks and Hotchkis sway bars.

I ran 36 frt 32 rear on my 08 Z51 with stock size RE-11. I now have a 12 GS but have been unable to locate RE-11 in GS sizes. Where did you locate stock C6 Z06/GS sizes?

I'm a Bridgestone Tire dealer and ordered them direct. They are listed on there website. Not sure how much longer they will be made since they just released a new RE-11A in limited sizes.

Thanks for the RE 11 info. I was at Barrett Jackson in West Palm Beach last month and spoke with a Bridgestone rep, he said that GS sizes were in the works and probably available from Tire Rack first. I will keep monitoring Tire Racks web site. Or should I look for them at my local Firestone store?

TireRack does not yet list them available. Is there an ETA?
EDIT: http://www.bridgestonetire.com/tire/...e-11?advisor=t
Bridgestone lists the tires on the site, but Tire Rack does not.

While searching for more info on available sizes of the RE-11 I came across reviews for the new RE-11A, I wonder if this is the tire that will (someday?) be available in GS/Z06 sizes. Does the A denote autocross? So far I have searched Tire Rack, Tirebuyer.com, carid and Firestone stores' web sites. None of these show the GS sizes.

"Sharing the tread design of the popular Potenza RE-11, the Potenza RE-11A adds an exclusive tread compound that combines silica with a new long-link carbon black to increase road contact and abrasion resistance while promoting tread rubber flexibility across a range of cool to hot temperatures."

I see that the tread wear rating on the Pilot SS has increased to 300. I recall the last set of PS 2's I owned that the tread wear was 220. I don't think one can rely on those numbers anymore (if ever) to give you a sense of how soft tread is. The RE-11s I had a year ago on a C6 Z51 had a tread wear of 180. I think the new RE 11 is rated a 200. They are getting harder and improving traction at the same time. Interesting.
