Default First Time Out

Went to the SARRS/MARRS double with NCR SCCA this weekend.

New motor, and essentially first time out for the car. Started off really crappy Saturday because of so many stock cars during qualifying I had to drive in the mirrors.

Eventually I settled down, got comfortable with the car and made a small air pressure adjustment and went consistent 2:18's on Sunday.

Car is making 348 WHP and 352 WTQ on a 10.5:1 350 with a single plane, Demon 750 and AFR 195s. A real mild cam also.

NT01's 275/40R17 on front and 315/35R17 on back and Carbotech XP12's and XP10's on stock J55 brakes.

Suspension is VB&P Extreme Touring setup.

2 and a half years of building, finally done.

I know I'm slow in a few places, and I got a little out of synch once in the climbing esses, but overall I think I did pretty well.

Glad to hear its out there and running! I hope to be out again this summer as well. A new car and new setup will take some time to get dialed in.

I was there, too, didn't get to see your group run b/c you were right after us. I saw the Vettes in the paddock but didn't talk to anyone new.
I'm sure you will be welcome at MARRS events. The big bore group has been light this year so you may get the opportunity to put some more miles on that car at Summit Point. Next event June 8.
