Default Extended Studs off the shelf from parts store

I wanted to report some extended studs I found at advanced auto this weekend. I searched the back shelf for something a little better than OEM and found something. this would be great if your running spacers. or you are using longer nuts to have more threads in contact. See attached picure. top is an APR, middle is a longer than OEM stud I found, and bottom is OEM. Note on the OEM you can see the threads making contact with the nut. with my 2" fully threaded nut, the OTS option is about perfect. the APR leaves a little hanging out. They are right at $2 each.

The part number is 98501.1 see pic.

For all the work to put these in, I would only use arp, and they are not that expensive.

2 cents.

I like the idea of easy access to parts, but I agree with the others. I just ordered another set of ARPs from Jeg's for all of $13.xx and free shipping. They arrived at the house before I was ready to install them. Can't beat that.

agreed. I have the APR's as well. but I buggered up the threads on a couple of them (dont ask, it was a goof mistake) I needed to get my car back on the ground ASAP to make the track. so I hit the easy button and went to the parts store to see what I could find. these will have to do until I get a change to pull the hubs again. wont be long as I am starting to have bushing issues.
