Default Wagon or magnesium rims?

I have two sets of rims. Wagon style and Magnesium.
One is for street and gets Falken tyres.
The other is for track and gets R888.

Which would you use for track? Wagon or Magnesium?

Right now I use Wagon for track. But as I just received my new Falken, I can donthe switchover.

Thanks.

The magnesium wheels should perform better because they are lighter. The only problem with the magnesium wheels is that they don't have a lip on them so it is very difficult to find a competent tire changer that can change the rubber without maring the wheel.....so, because you will be changing tires a lot more on your track wheels the mag's will get chewed up a lot faster.

I would track the wagons, virtually indestructable & really not THAT heavy, Suggest you weigh all before tires go on.

I agree with the above posters - track the wagons. They will take more abuse than the magnesium wheels.

Okay. I'll go that. My R888 are already on the Wagons. So I won't need any switchover. Thanks for the advice gents!
