Pfadt works fine but I like to remove mine so I got the Phoenix removable tow hook.

Same here. Phoenix also made me a removable rear tow hook.

Both of those mentioned are great parts, but if I ever stick one on it'll be one of those "soft" tow lines.

I am sure that any would be fine. But I have been using the Phoenix removable tow hook and really like it. I highly recommend it.

I'd figure some way to attach. For a quick pull out or tow back to pits. If the car needs to be LIFTED, well the tow strap/hook is the least of your problem.

GM has a tow hook for the front. Barely noticeable and doesn't protrude.

I have the Hardbar soft tow hook for front and rear. Both can be hid out of way when not tracking. I have heard the fixed ones can leave quite a spot on the knee

Similar but different. I use the one with the ring.
