Default Dallas-Ft Worth HPDE Days in October?

To all DFW-based track peeps,

I'm having trouble finding a track day in October for either Motorsport Ranch (Cresson) or Eagle's Canyon Raceway. Anyone know of something I can jump in on besides the 1.3m through APEX at MSRC on 10/5/13?

There's a chance I can jump in on a member day at MSRC but it's iffy at best due to relying on a friend-of-a-friend to hook me up.

Thanks!
Dan

Drivers Edge is running the 3.1 on October 12th and 13th.

I think there are some spots still open.

Sam Packs Ford has monthly open track days at ECR. I'm debating going to the October session. Tons of Mustangs obviously, but they aren't much of a challenge.

I had my butt handed to me by a couple of nearly stock Boss 302s this spring, so I don't take them lightly.

Driver mod. We're all there to get better. What tires are you going to run?

Crappy streets -- BF Goodrich KDW2s. I plan to go with something much more aggressive when I finally wear these out (which may never happen given my adoration of the C7).

I'm switching out to PS2s for my next session. You can find a set for cheap on ebay/craigslist locally.

Really? If you see any out there please let me know. I was thinking of Pilot Super Sports for my next set -- especially since they come with a tread wear warranty.

Well I'm not buying new since they will be a track set.
