NJ GP on the 2014 F1 Calendar!
I received this email a few minutes ago. I still have doubts about it happening, but we can always hope!
WEEHAWKEN, N.J. (Sept. 27, 2013) The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile has released the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar, with the inaugural Grand Prix of America at Port Imperial listed. The race will be the first Formula One race in the New Jersey / New York area, a fitting celebration of the world championship's 65th year of competition.
"The entire Grand Prix of America team is thrilled to join the 2014 FIA calendar and we look forward to bringing world-class Formula One racing to New Jersey," race promoter Leo Hindery, Jr. said.
The Grand Prix of America will run on a 3.2-mile temporary street circuit along the Hudson River in Weehawken and West New York, N.J., with the New York City skyline as a stunning backdrop. The 19-turn course includes a breathtaking elevation change of 160 feet from sea level to the top of the Palisades cliff.
More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the three-day event, most arriving by public transportation. The race, which will receive no government subsidies, is expected to generate more than $100 million in annual economic benefits for New Jersey and New York.

Hope it works out for you but don't hold your breath. It was quite an ordeal to get the race in Austin, and was on again off again on again..... Fortunately COTA worked out and will be there for years to come. Hope the same for NJ/NY
