Formula One Brazil - TV Schedule
Formula One - BRAZIL - MULTIPLE NETWORKS!!!
--------------------------------------------------
If this looks a lot like the USGP schedule that's because it is!
Be sure to double check things - especially the channels!
THINGS TO KNOW
*LIVE* COVERAGE OF QUALIFYING WILL BE on the CNBC network.
*LIVE* COVERAGE OF THE RACE WILL BE on the NBC network. (as in "Jay Leno")
ALL RE-SHOWINGS OF ALL SHOWS DURING THE WEEKEND will be on the NBC SPORTS NET network.
1. THE TIMES AND PROGRAM LENGTHS FOR THIS WEEKEND ARE DIFFERENT, SO PAY ATTENTION!
2. THERE ARE TWO SHOWINGS OF THE RACE ON SUNDAY ONLY!!!
3. Once again - the PRE-RACE show for the LIVE showing of the race is INCLUDED IN THE RACE SHOW ITSELF this week!!!
4. Once again - the PRE-RACE show for the RE-SHOWING of the race is scheduled separately this week!!!
xxxIf you want to see it you'll need to record it separately!!
The post-race show "F1 Extra" is shown immediately after the race
show whatever time that may be. the simplest way to make sure you
record it is to simply add enough extra time to the race broadcast recording to
get (a) any extra time that was needed to record the entire race
including any delays, and (b) "F1 Extra". My standard is to
add at least three hours (!) just to make sure I cover most eventualities.
I pull this info from from my Tivo's schedule. I have no guarantee that
it is correct but it usually is.

Heads up!
The current (9pm PST Friday) weather forecast for the weekend in Sao Paulo is for rain & drizzles on Saturday and showers on Sunday. So be sure and add lots of extra time to your recordings of the qualifying and the race as rain can cause delays and your recording(s) could fall short of the actual broadcast times.

Pretty cool that you all have reminder posts up from a member with such detail, wish we had that on our other forums!

These LMP1 cars are badass critters just as sophisticated as F1 (if not more so since they are allowed to use so many different power technologies) and they have the benefit of full aero - no wheels sticking out in the air flow to mess with things.
The big question will be "can the U.S. audience *see* the 24 hours of Le Mans next year?" since Speed is now gone.
At least with these cars Mark won't be scrutinized every race for bad starts.
