Looks like so much fun, love the sound, tach, speed, and g-meter.

How does that time compare to the usual suspects re C7, C6Z, ZR1, etc ?

The lap time for the Z28 was impressive especially when you consider portions of the track were wet.

Here is a list of other lap times.

At around 6:40 things get kind of exciting.............that was pretty cool, and the last portion of the lap was in the wet!

There was one long straight that he seemed to keep in the 140+ mph range, but it seemed that he could have taken it at 150+mph? If so, and with the wet conditions in the last portion, it seems as though there might be opportunities to improve on that 7:37 lap time.

06 C6Z - Eagle F1's - 7:42
14 Camaro Z28 - 7:37 (wet track) (Trofeo R's)
08? ZR1 - PS2's - 7:26
11 Z07/Carbon - MPSC - 7:22
10? ZR1 - MPSC - 7:19

I don't think there are times for any other Corvette models. There has been no C7 time released yet.

Keeping things in perspective, on a wetish track, that's a hugely impressive time for a car of that weight without a bunch of nannies like AWD, dual clutches and all that jazz.

Edit: I forgot it came on Trofeo R's.

It definitely sparks some interest! That's a real track car. Forget ALL the junk and show your skills!
