Default Wilwood Brakes

I am getting ready to order a set of new calipers on my front. It will be the LG Motorsport Wilwood kit from KNS. I have rims from CCW, the Corsairs that are 18x10. My question is, do any of you run this setup? I want to make sure they fit. I have a 2003 Z06.

The LG kit and the KNS kit are not the same. The KNS kit is the one you want and they will fit with no problem. Just add 1/8" wheel spacers for the front if you're using stock rotors and 18" C5Z wheels.

Do you need the spacers if you are using the larger Wilwood rotors?

I can't say for sure since the caliper will be moved out more towards the barrel, but I ran the stock size 12.8" Wilwood 2pc rotor with Wilwood hats on mine and it needed the spacer for a C5Z 18" wheel.
I'm pretty sure the Wilwood hats have the same offset as OEM whereas the DBA from KNS does not.

I am running W6 (14.25" rotor) and W4 (14" rotor) BBKs with the stock rear C5Z06 wheels on my 2003 Z06 with no fitment issues. Had to slightly grind the lower control arm on the rears to clear the rotors, but no biggie. My build thread on here shows them.

These are not the LG nor the KNS kits, so your mileage will most likely vary.

Cool. Mine came with the Wilwood hats and 2 different types of rotors and I did a quick test fit and it was close with the 18" Z06 track wheels but plenty of clearance with my dd wheels. I bought some spacers a couple of yrs ago thinking I might end up here someday. They are putting brakes on at JHR Performance this week. I still have about 12 sets of stock rotors to use also.
