Have my flights booked, tickets ordered, hotel room booked and rental car reserved. Was last there in 2010 and had a great time. If you have never been you are missing out. I was in short sleeves most of the time in 2010 when there was snow/ice on the ground at home! It's not like a NASCAR race with 100k people. I would say more like 5k people. You can walk the garages and come right up to the doors and watch them work on the cars. 2014 will be awesome because of the merger between Grand Am and ALMS. Now Corvette Racing will be there. I am stoked!!!

My dad and I are going down Friday through Monday. We haven't been down for the 24 since 2002 but with the new series and the return of Corvette Racing we decided to go back. We're staying in Ormond Beach, same place we've stayed for when we've got down for the 24 and 500 since the early 90s.

Seriously? There couldn't have been more than 5-10k people there in 2010. Of course we left Sunday morning so my only experience is from Thurs-Sat. This time we are flying into Orlando early Fri afternoon and hope to make the Continental race. Don't have the vacation days this year to come in on Thurs this time.
BTW, is this Todd? I bought a pair of slicks from you last spring. Shannon
