About 10 years ago I traded a set of IROC wheels and tires for a set of rims that came off of a 77 Corvette. My intent was to put them on my 59 El Camino project. I have decided to rat rod the EC so I don't need the wheels. I don't know if they are the originals to the 77. they are the same rims that were on the Vette in Corvette Summer. That was a '73 and the movie was released in 78.

Digging around all I can determine (may or may not be reliable) based on the photos of what I have is they are possibly Hurricane Turbine Aluminum wheels made by FDI Inc in the 70's. I will try to attach pictures but if not I have made a public link in Facebook. I guess what I want to know is; are these corvette rims or aftermarket? If they are, are they common or are their Vette owners looking for them? I am sentimental and like to see original parts link up with original cars.
