Default AutoX -315F/335R wheel size

I was hoping to get some feedback on proper wheel size. I bought my SSP Vette ready to go. It is a 9/10 prepped car. I am going to leave it untouched as I start the campaign next year. I do need a new set of wheels though. Presently the car has been running on 315/30/18 front and 335/30/18 year A6s. I like the balance of the car with that tire size. I am currently on 18x10.5 CCW's. What is the recommended wheel size that rubber I am running? Anyone with experience on a wide wheel for that rubber and autox? From looking at how pinched the tire is I would think something wider would put more contact patch down if something wider will fit.

Thanks!

10 or 11s in the front
12 or 13s in the rear. these will require a mini tub

So at 10.5, I am good in the front. I can't tube the rear, class rules won't allow it.

Call John at CCW- My 12" rears fit with 335's, no spacers, no tubs. There's about 1/4" of clearance. You probably will see a bit of rubbing in the wheel well (nearest to the frame) but not enough to damage the tire. (Just enough for a little scuffing under hard cornering). You can always run a 1/4" spacer if that's objectionable.

Agree. I ran that tire setup for three years on CCWs, 18x11 inch fronts and 18x12 inch rears. 315 fronts and 335 rears A6s.

I used a 1/4 inch spacer on the rears. No tub needed. You will just barely clear the air duct.

c5 or c6?

My c6 felt best with 12's front with 335's and 13's rear with 345's, though i never tested back to back with smaller tires.

i have now decided that buying hoosiers for solo is just not a fruitful use of my budget though...
