Default New Z/28 costs $75,000

I was intrigued by this car until GM put the price out. I'll take a Corvette all day for that money.

Seem fast to me. I think it's worth the price.

For 75k I'll go find a '68 kept in a barn and update it. I'm sure a modern Donohue treatment would get every bit as fast.

Yes, the performance is great! But not $75k great, IMO. I feel you can do so much more with that money for performance. Maybe a Corvette with some extra money thrown at it? You'll get a sleeker, still lighter car while keeping options. How fast could you make a C6 Z06 with an extra $35,000? Or even a C7 with some head and cam work? That's just my point.
