Continental fronts C6Z, What is the correct size
The continental tires have strange size reference numbers. Can some one tell me what is the closest Conti track tire to the factory C6Z fronts
I have 305 xxxxx on there now but they are too wide for the wheel and the diameter is a little larger. Their useful life is gone so I want to get another pair but I'm not sure what to order
Thanks
Roger

Depending on your front wheel size and rear tire size. You an run a 285/645/18 or 305/650/18. For actual height divide the middle number by 25.4, 645=25.39.

Thanks for the responses. I have a set of 305"s on the front now. They are a little too wide. Height is ok but a taste on the tall side. They were rears on a c5 base car. I used them because they were available at the track when I corded my other ones. I didn't save the corded ones to get the size from them

ok so that's mm. 305/25.4=12. So that's definitely too wide for the front. I just looked at my tires. They are 305 660 18. that's 25.98 tall. That height will work but its a little too close. The width is a good bit too wide.
Thanks for the help guys

I am actually running the 305's on C5Z rear wheels on the front of my C6Z now.
The car pushes less with more tire up front, but no the 305's didn't fit the stock wheel to my preference, but others are running them just fine.
However the 305 will not work with active handling on, the dia. is to far off.
