CVCC's HPDE at Pocono North
Cumberland Valley Corvette Club (CVCC) will hold its annual HPDE/Driving School on May 3 & 4 at Pocono Raceway - North Course.
This is a friendly well run event that welcomes all makes of cars - no SUVs. Participants will be grouped according to experience. Instructors will be provided for novice drivers and are available for intermediate and advanced drivers. All NOVICE students will have a mandatory classroom session prior to entering the track and assigned in-car instructor for all sessions until 'signed off' for solo.
Entry Fees include both days:
- STUDENTS (with instructor) - $335
- INTERMEDIATE - $310
- ADVANCED - $285
Note: Required equipment: Snell 2005 (or newer) approved helmet and mounted onboard fire extinguisher (minimum 5BC rating with metal bracket and metal to metal clamp) are required by NCCC insurance to run in the school. A roll bar is required for open cars/convertibles; one-piece targa tops or ‘T’ tops are considered roll over protection.
I'd be glad to answer general questions about this event, but if you specific questions about what group you would run please contact Dave Walter, Event Chair, at (717) 691-9320 (before 9 PM, please) or e-mail to: david.j.walter@verizon.net. Dave will also provide additional event and registration materials.
Hope to see you at Pocono!!
