315/30/18 or 305/35/18 NT-01s
I'm thinking of ditching my R888s when I complete my 18x10.5 set up for NT-01s based on all the great reviews on this tire compared to the not so good reviews of the R888.
So simple question 315 or 305?

Thanks for the input fellas.
I'm on the fence about sticking with the NT-01s or picking up a trailer and buying some A6 scrubs it will be about the same price and in the long run scrubs will be cheaper.
But not sure if I'm ready for slicks yet.

What tracks do you usually run? I have a lot of data on square nt01 315s. I switched to 275 nittos to stay in class. I was faster on the 275s on a short (1.1) mile track and faster by a few tenths than when I ran new R6s (they were new but discontinued 295/40/18s from the Cayman series). The 275s were about 2 seconds slower at Chuckwalla CCW than used pirelli slicks 305s (PZeros IIRC). It is a big, fast track requiring lots of lateral grip.
I'd probably go with the 305s if everything else is equal but no matter what size you get they are a fantastic tire. The 315s stick out past my fenders enough that I think they were an aero drag but it looks cool. I had no scrub/fender issues but my car is lightened and on stock springs so it sits high. They last much longer than R6s, more resilient to lockups with no flatspotting issues (I don't have abs).

To be clear, I didn't run the r6s as the same day as the 275s but I did run the sameday with 315s. The NT01s get better after the first weekend.

I mostly run Thunderhill with some events at Sonoma and Laguna.

I've read that the tires stick out just a bit. Are any of you that are running a 315 or 305 square set up lowered with coilovers or are you running stock ride height? I'll be running LG G2 coilovers so fender height might be an issue for me. TIA
