I've heard of Corvette Hill, but don't really know where it is. Where would I go upon entering the parking area after the bridge and near the gas station?

When you get to the paddock, turn left and go up the rise toward the building with the restrooms. Turn left into that extension of the paddock. That's it.

From the Hogpen viewing area you can see the cars come down Rollercoaster and Hogpen.

Come to think of it, I do seem to remember seeing a lot of 'Vettes hanging around in that area.

I will be there running a C5 Z06 in DE2. Black number 444. I will try to say hey. VIR is big fun. Those guys up on Corvette hill know some stuff about tracking Vettes.

Sounds promising seeing I am missing the Friday ReZoom event. Not a lot else going there until May. Surely car will be ready by then.

I'll be there instructing. Race car will need one more week of work to get finished. Instructing is fun and will let me get some time on the new track before May's race.

Important info about the new pavement, with thanks to Hat Trick Hokie from another thread:

From the Chin event email:

Special notes on NEWLY PAVED PADDOCK!
The newly paved paddock at VIR requires special care: BRING WOODEN SQUARES to place on the pavement under jacks, jack stands and trailer dolly wheels to prevent gouging the pavement. REQUIRED! VIR security will be inspecting the paddock to ensure compliance. VIR DOES NOT provide wooden pads, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN.

I'm trying to make it. David Farmer is doing my setup this week, so should be ready in time. Just finished with cage build last week and Wilwood brake kit completed today. Rumors going around the the track is an easy 2 seconds faster with new pavement widening. I can't wait to find out for myself.
