Default z06 oil cooler fittings

I posted this over in c6 tech, but figured maybe one of you guys will have an idea so sorry for the double post.

I'm hoping someone out there has run into the same issue and can help.

I purchased a z06 oil cooler (the original kind air-air that goes in front of the AC condensor) that didn't have the quick connection fittings. I can't seem to find the part number for them and I'm hoping someone has had a similar issue. I think the part numbers for the fittings would be the same for the z51 external cooler as well since supposedly the lines hook right in.

The part number is NOT 15719697 which others have scavenged clips from in the past...the threads aren't right for the cooler. Unfortunately I goofed and got a long way into the install today and realized I had never tried the fittings I ordered and just assumed they would work; imagine my surprise when they didn't!

Anyone have any ideas (or a z51/z06 cooler they replaced or from a motor that let go and would be willing to get rid of the fittings?)

Arrows are pointing at what I'm looking for:

It is my understanding that these fittings can only be purchased with the oil cooler. I do have one extra that I would be willing to sell...but, one isn't going to help much.

That's what I'm finding as well. I wish I had the tools to measure the threads on the cooler itself and I'd make something work. I think it's 3/4-16 but I'm really not sure.

I'd like to think someone has a z51 cooler that they upgraded and kept the fittings for just sitting somewhere; but that may just be wishful thinking.

I have the part number that will work for you. But will have to wait until the am. They have a stupid tin washer that you can rip of the fitting or leave it on it will work either way.

Posted so I remember to post back tomorrow.

I think DeWitt's sells them. They use something similar in their radiators with the EOC.

GM15190249 Is the correct in and out. The washer thing can stay or you can remove it.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look this up for me. I can't offer much to you but maybe a few hours of remote IT support if you ever need it lol .

Nothing required on my end. But if you want to give back please charge somebody for a couple hours and give back to this group. Hits both things that I like to give back to. Troops and dogs.

I got the fittings today and they go into the cooler and feel like they will work perfectly! I'm trying to figure out how to remove these washers as I feel like they would hide a leak but thank you so much Randy.

For any future people looking for the part number coming from an internet search, I'll put the answer right here.

c6 z06 air to oil cooler fittings are GM or AC Delco part number (P/N) 15190249

Thanks again!

Side cutter it into the base of the fitting. Once you work your way close to the center, then bend twist and fight it off. Kind of like a pop can top. It's tin and is pretty brittle so it will break off.

Thanks that sounds like a good idea. Should I use any type of thread sealant/locker on the fitting itself?
