Will depend slightly on the slicks you are running but I would start around 20 to 22 psi and target around 28 to 30 hot. Slicks need lower air pressure than r comps. 28 to 30 hot worked for me at MSR Cresson on Dunlop scrubs on the 3.1.

I like to have 32 psi hot. That's on Goodyear DOT tires but folks tell me it works for almost all DOT tires. That means I usually start out with 22 psi cold. The best way to figure out the optimum hot tire pressure is to take temperature readings.
btw - The Sprint Cup guys were starting out at 14 psi a few weeks ago when they had big time tire problems. At 14 psi they were stupid fast - for a few laps.
