Default 1981 Blue/Blue 700r4, Steeroids & Sidepipes

F/S-1981 Coupe Blue/Blue 350/375+ H.P., Built 700r4, 3.55 rear. The whole drive train has under 5,000 miles. Paint is fair to good condition. Interior good, but starting to show age. However it drives like a dream. Very reliable, with a many, many new, refurbrished, upgraded parts. Under hood is impressive.
Call me for details. 610-428-6382.
Asking $12,999.00
Lots of money spent mechanically on this car so, only reasonable offers will be considered.

Good looking vette. So everything works (ac, headlights, etc..)? It just needs interior and exterior done to make it perfect? GLWTS

Based on last time I was home (I'm the seller's son), I think you could make the exterior an 8/10 (or better) with some love and time with a polisher. Paint job if you're doing NCRS or something for top flight.
Interior needs time/effort, not much money.

Car sounds mean, drives as well as my C5 with low miles, and if I recall correctly, everything works.
I know the headlight vacuum hoses were ALL replaced with a kit a little while back.

Interior is decent, just not new. Only one small tear on drivers seat at a seam. Doors panels nice, needs clip on drivers door. New t- top molded healiner(painted t-tops). Newer t-top seals. Carpeting is nice, replaced rear carpeting and storage/ battery boxes with new. New mirror. Dash has no cracks. Headlight vacuum system recently totally rebuilt and works as new. Newer hood release cable. I haven't used the A/C system for awhile, but it was changed over. Worked last time I used it but probably needs charged by now. I'll have to check it.

Default more info

Car is from Arizona, no hit/ no rust. 180 AFR aluminum heads, 270 FTH Comp Magnum Cam, 1.6 Comp rocker arms, Weiand Air Strike intake manifold, Holley 670 Street Avenger carb, Davis Unified Ignition(custom curved), Hooker header sidepipes, Hooker Max Flo muffler inserts, K&N air filter, Lokar throttle and trans kickdown cables & many billet & chrome prices. Pro Built 700r4, shift kit, 2600 Continental conv., 7 vein front pump etc., all HD parts, Bow Tie Overdrives install kit & rear crossmember, 3.55 posi rear prof. built, new fiberglass spring, wheel bearings, shocks, rotors, calipers, u- joints, adj. sway bars, Ecklers 5" high rise hood, American Racing wheels, BFG's(almost new), line locks, rev limiter, Steroids rack & pinion, new headlight vacuum system & a new Optima battery too. The car is fast and capable of low 13 second passes in the 1/4 mile, however the overdrive allows the car to cruise comfortably at 65- 70 MPH at about 1800 RPM's, and the sidepipes sound fantastic. The Steeroids rack & pinion system provides a solid new car like steering feel. I' m positive the new owner will be thrilled with the performance this car is capable of. The car is in nice overall condition but is 33 years old and is not perfect. The non working items as of right now are: A/C, horn, pass side door lock, speedometer, a couple lights in dash, dome light & cruise control disconnected in favor of the Lokar setup. Many spare original parts to go with purchase. Thanks for looking, call anytime..610-428-6382.
