WTB: 1968-1977 Corvette Coupe
I am currently in search for a 1968-1977 Corvette Coupe that would be a project. The body and frame must be solid and mostly rust free. I am not particular if it has an engine/transmission as it is planned to be swapped anyway with an LS3/T56. If it does come with an engine/transmission, then great. I am located in Florida and I would like to find one within the state. I prefer a 1968-1973 Corvette Coupe but I know chances are I won't find one for the price I want, but any 1968-1977 would work. I have about $5k to work with. Thanks!

Bump! Still looking, I have a maximum of $7k to spend now. I am only interested in a 1968-1972 C3 Coupe with little to no rust issues on the frame and birdcage. As mentioned above, having an engine/transmission isn't completely important. Also, I'd like the car to be assembled for the most part (rolling chassis/body).

I may have what your looking for. 1976 Corvette L48 coupe w/T-tops. I bought this car last May. It was sitting in a barn up in Maine without a title. It took a lot of leg work to establish the title, and have been restoring slowly. previous owner had changed the front and rear ends and interior of the car. When I got it nothing worked at all. I have completely replaced the brake system from the power booster to the wheels. I have a long list and receipts Of what I have done. I now am using it as a daily car. I really have stop the restoration only because I have my heart set on getting a jeep, and would rather dump my time, money and effort into a jeep. However I don't live in Florida I am in NJ. I will send you a few pics of the car. thanks for your time and consideration. Jeff
