For Sale : 1980 Chevrolet L-82 Corvette coupe 3 speed automatic in excellent condition. This car is in excellent condition in and out and underneath and I keep it in near show room condition . The paint is 10 – 15 years old and only has a few little scratches. The interior nearly looks like a new car. I replaced the leather seats last year. This car had lots of parts replaced in 2011 including a NEW $4000.00 Chevy Performance HO 350 / 330HP http://www.jegs.com/i/GM-Performance...10008/10002/-1 , new Front wheel bearings, 4 new shocks, 2 Magnaflow Mufflers with 2.5” pipes, 4 Brake Disc and Brake Pads , Sony stereo and rear speaker box . The new parts only have about 15000 kms on them.
The body and drive train are are in excellent condition but here is a list of a few minor issues :
-The passenger window only goes all the way down if you push it down.
- Rear defog doesn’t work ,electrical problem but I can’t figure it out.
-The heater only blows air to the feet vents.
-Some of the window weatherstrips are starting to deteriorate
-The Tach is not always accurate.
-A chip about the size of a dime on the passenger door (as seen in pic) that has been glued back on.
This car has lots of torque and doesn’t take long to go from 0 to 60 !
It has a low rumble that shakes the car at idle and is a real head turner !
I ordered 4 new B F Goodrich that will be installed !
I even have the original GM 1980 Corvette pamphlet and the 1:24 scale yellow plastic Corvette that the dealer gave when you bought a car.
