Default 4 Sale - 1978 Corvette Silver Anniversary Edition 42 K Miles

1978 Corvette Silver Anniversary Edition 42 K Miles

One of a Kind Resto- Mod, Muscle Car, High- Perf Custom Street Car

Up for sale is a rare two owner adult driven special vehicle. It has not been raced or abused, just driven and thoroughly enjoyed. It is always Garaged and under a cover. Loved and babied is an understatement….this gentlemen has never even driven her in the rain. This Vette is NOT a Toy. It has been the hobby of its current owner since 1998. His loss is your gain with over $50K in receipts. All of the below were installed at 38K miles by “The Vette Doctors” in Amityville, NY (one of the premier Vette shops in the country). This Vette runs, handles, shifts, brakes and sounds awesome. She really turns heads like no other. Just about all of the original parts including the L-82 engine, T-10 Trans, seats, wheels and spare parts were saved and are available with the car.

While this Vette is mechanically sound the say the least, there are a few things that need mentioning.
The air conditioning needs a hose and then a charge to get it working again. It does however have a new chrome compressor installed.
The passenger side plastic front bumper side skirt is not currently mounted on the car but is included in the auction.
It appears as though at one time prior to the current owner taking title in the late 90's, it was tapped in the rear (see picture in listing).
There are numerous chips/scratches/blemishes around the vehicle as well as some cover up areas inside the door hinge areas+. I have many detailed pictures handy and can forward upon request.
New emblems from GM (L82 and Vette Flag) in hand and will be included with car.

I honestly do not remember the last time I got so excited to hear music like this come out of these tailpipes as I did earlier today. The sound is truly incredible. I knew when we took her for a quick spin my excitement would turn into pure bliss....and it did! Wow, was I impressed with how strong and tight everything was. She shifted precise, cornered hard, and the power.....amazing! There are no signs of any leaks whatsoever. This is a classic muscle car fan's dream....not perfect on the outside (still clean and impressive looking 4 sure), but with all new components including a monster under the hood! NO expense spared in this resto-mod.

This vehicle is being offered in "as is" condition with no warranty applied. Asking $24,900.

I think by the above statements that you are not the owner of this car.
