FS - 1982 CE Collector Edition Unmolested Survivor
$10,500 no trades.
Car is located in Roseburg, Oregon. 60,800 miles on the odometer. Very clean survivor down to the original cloth floor mats. Original window sticker included. Also 1982 Corvette brochure included, signed by the GM Plant Manager dated 3/9/82. The original T-top storage covers are there.
Runs good - Always garaged - California plates - Part of a car guy's estate collection from bone dry southern California.
The 4-wheel disc brakes just professionally rebuilt with internal O-ring upgrade. Just installed new fuel pump upgraded design, new flexible fuel lines, new fuel filter, new battery, new coolant temperature sender, new radiator hoses and cap. Just had the radiator rebuilt with original tanks and upgraded with new modern 3-row core, new radiator cooler hoses. New Delco Remy shocks, new sway bar bushings.
Certainly drive-able and show-able as is. Only two mechanical issues we see are the transmission has a seep, probably just the shifter shaft seal. And the heater core was seeping, and has been by-passed for now. There are reproduction heater cores on the market ($75).
Average retail value $15,529 per Hagerty Price Guide.

Options shown on original invoice above in additional to the Collector Edition exclusive features:
6-Way power seat.
Power door locks.
Electric twin remote sport mirrors.
Cruise control.
AM/FM Cassette with power antennae.
Chevrolet knew this would be the last year of an entire generation of Corvettes and so commemorated the occasion by offering a Collector Edition with exclusive features, paint and interior. Special, exclusive aluminum wheels were designed to look like the optional bolt-on wheels of the 1967 model. First to feature an exclusive hatch rear window (all other '82 Vettes had a fixed rear window).
Cross-fire fuel-injected L83. Mated to a new four-speed automatic overdrive transmission, with lower first and second gears for improved low-end acceleration. Fastest American production car made in 1982.
Very interesting 1982 Corvette Collector Edition article here:
